As wedding season approaches, its been soo good to have awesome couples in front of the camera again!
Noel & Beth will be tying the knot in just a few months time. So, as part of their photography wedding package, we had an amazing Engagement Session to celebrate the soon to be newly weds!
Our plan was to shoot at secluded spot along the Gonubie River, just outside East London. As the day arrived, we were greeted with grey bland skies. But as the camera came out, so did the golden light of a setting sun. How lucky were we!?
Beth & Noel came prepared with a sense of humor and a ton of laughs for the 30 minute session. Working with them, you can really get the feeling that they are true friends who know the subtilties of each other and are comfortable to be themselves.
Our shoot came to a stop as the light once again turned grey. But not before we captured some golden memories for this special couple to look back on.
For those techincially interested, the entire session was shot on a Fujifilm XT-3 with Fuji’s 50-140 F2.8 Lens. I really wanted to pull in the background and unique scenery that was on offer, as well as the golden light bursting through the clouds.
My clients usually work with me because of my experience in working in such remote and beautiful landscapes. I love to include people in these landscapes that tend to bring out a unique perspective. Working with couples who are keen to push the boundaries and don’t mind to get their feet dirty are my kind of people!
